Getting to Twin Coves
Twin Coves is located almost directly at the midpoint of the 100 mile long island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas. It is approximately 2 miles north of the town of Governor's Harbour and approximately 7 miles south of Governor's Harbour airport, which is reachable via a one hour flight from Fort Lauderdale or Miami, Florida or a 1/2 hour flight from Nassau, Bahamas. The only direct flights to Eleuthera are from one of these three airports.

Believe it or not, there actually are three airports on Eleuthera (Governor's Harbor, North Eleuthera and Rock Sound). You should fly into Governor's Harbour airport because it is by far the closest airport to Twin Coves. The international airport locator code for Governor's Harbour airport is 'GHB'.

Major carriers that fly to the Bahamas include
Continental, US Airways, American, Delta, Jet Blue and British Air. Most of these fly either through Fort Lauderdale, Miami or Nassau and some of these make connections directly into GHB (often a codeshare).

One of the best and cost effective methods is to fly a major carrier into Fort Lauderdale and connect with one of the following regional carriers, both with direct flights to GHB:

Twin Air (phone: +1-954-359-8266, web: www.flytwinair.com)

Lynx Air (phone: +1-954-772-9808, web: www.lynxair.com)

Another alternative is to fly to Nassau where a connection can be made with

Other regional airlines out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida include:

Island Express (telephone: 1-954-359-0380)

Coming from Europe, its best to make a connection in Miami, or fly British Air from London with a connection in Nassau.
